Usha Uthup

Crossing boundaries through music.

Usha Uthup, India’s Disco Queen, is coming to Baybasi to entertain us with an evening of dancing and enthralling music! For over 50 years, Usha Uthup has spread a message of happiness, love and unity, peace and harmony, tolerance and integrity through her songs.

This year, the ticket sales from Baybasi’s Usha Uthup fundraiser concert will support women in India struggling with mental illness in their journey to become self-sufficient and contributing members of society, by providing them with treatment, living expenses and vocational training.

You are cordially invited to join us and dance to Usha’s songs! The venue will offer an abundance of delectable food for you to enjoy!

Women Empowerment

A VIEW for Women

This project aims to help homeless women with mental illness in India. The project will provide these women with a safe and supportive environment where they can learn new skills, earn a living, and rebuild their lives. The project also aims to raise awareness about the issue of homelessness and mental illness among women in India.

The project is in need of funding, donations of land, buildings, and materials, and volunteers to help with the day-to-day operations. The project faces a number of challenges, including the high cost of providing care for homeless women with mental illness, the stigma associated with mental illness in India, and the lack of awareness about the issue of homelessness among women in India.

Despite these challenges, the project has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of homeless women with mental illness in India. By providing them with a safe and supportive environment where they can learn new skills, earn a living, and rebuild their lives, the project can help them to recover their dignity and become self-sufficient. The project can also raise awareness about the issue of homelessness and mental illness among women in India, and help to reduce the stigma associated with these conditions.
